10 favorite parapara routines ♥ part 1

Self explanatory title... I've been really off my parapara grind 😭 the other day I was doomscrolling and saw someone doing parapara and my arms were literally aching with the need to para... anyways, here I am writing this blog post instead of practicing. LMAO. Anyways, enjoy this list of paraparas that I should be doing right now --

1) Angeleek feat. Kyon 〜真実のギャルサー〜

I love this one so much, but it took me forever to learn lol. Once, while practicing this routine, I scratched myself so hard it left a scar, but I just kept dancing because I really wanted to get it perfect. I also really like this song

2) Boom Boom Sexy Lady - Joe Banana

I don't see anyone do this routine ever! I searched hard for a routine for this because I love this song. I was able to find a handful of people doing it, but I was looking for a recording of the official routine. This is as close as I can get. The video is blocked, but you can find the original routine by searching Euro-no-Tamashi vol.3 on twinstar" on youtube. Boom Boom Sexy Lady starts at 26:55 in that video!

3) Ganguro - Franz "Mad Cow" Tornado & The Yamanba Gals

This was the first parapara I ever fully learned! I learned it before I even started gyaru, when I was still in the research phase. Honestly, since it was the first one I learned, I quickly abandoned it. I still haven't really got it down.

4) Suspiria - Vamps

This was the first techpara I ever learned! Like Ganguro, I learned this one before I even started gyaru. At the time it seemed difficult, so I dropped it right after learning it and never practiced it more after that. I hadn't seen many other parapara videos before this one, so I thought it was super advanced. I've forgotten most of it, but looking back at it now, I could probably clean it up pretty easily.

5) Moe Gals - CRAZY FRUIT feat. QT

This is one of the first paras I discovered when I got into gyaru, and to this day it's the one I want to learn the most. Because yes, I never learned it 😭 I tried, believe me, but I could never get more than a few seconds in. However, that was a while ago. I'm sure I'd be able to get it down now if I really tried.

6) SHOCK OUT - Fastway

I love love love this routine. And do you SEE Rumiringo in this video?? Inspo. This whole routine is so addicting. I love watching it more than I loved learning it 😭

7) Fight Fire With Fire - EXDREAM

I used to know this one, but it has been so long since I've done it that I've forgotten... Similarly to Suspiria, at the time it was pretty hard for me, so I had only learned the bare minimum. No surprise that I forgot it lol.

8) Deja Vu - Dave Rodgers

DEJA VU!!!!!! This one is amazing. UNFORTUNATELY... the video is blocked again. But it's not hard to find.

9) Crazy Train - The Prophet

This one's obvious. This is the coolest looking techpara I know. I definitely have to practice this one a lot more. There's a freestyle section as well, which is super fun!

10) One Night in Arabia - Go Go Girls

This song is super catchy and the routine is mesmerizing!! I've seen it done with a fan before and it was gorgeous. I just love smooth movements and transitions in parapara.

And that's ten! I already have a part 2 of this in the making, just because I needed more content (already?) and because I didn't want to just shove a bunch of videos in one blog post like that. It's more enjoyable this way! I hope to see you in part 2 💖💖
